There really is no excuse for a 17 year old person, who has had the post-1995 Internet available to them their entire lives, not knowing even the simplest basics of the facts about being trans, and then presuming to tell the whole of the Internet that being transgender results from internalised stereotyping of gender roles.

Seriously, child, get a fucking clue. It’s possible that we might have actually thought about this from adult perspectives for longer than you’ve been able to form coherent sentences, for longer even, than the cells of your body have existed in a coherent form.

Think about that for a second. Not everyone on Tumblr is a teenager, although sometimes it seems that the level of discourse is sophomoric and adolescent.
